Homebound & TLCSP Program Process

Process:

  1. The homebound or TLCSP process will start with counselor at school.  The counselor will distribute appropriate paperwork to be completed.
NOTE: Students must make an appointment in the spring with counselor.  Students are not guaranteed acceptance for the following school year.
  2. The process will begin when the completed paperwork is returned.  For admittance into the TLCSP, an intake meeting should be scheduled with tutor.
  3. The necessary paperwork (referral form, agreement, transcript evaluation, etc.) will be referred to building administration for review and approval.
  4. Referral form and necessary paperwork will be sent to superintendent.
  5. Superintendent will review form and sign, if approved.
  6. Student is assigned to appropriate program with tutor.  For placement in TLCSP, intake meeting should be held prior to attendance.
  7. TLC should always be the first option for High School students.
  8. Tutors will be responsible for grade reports on those students.  Grades will need to be given to the counseling office at the school.  Those grades will be reported quarterly. Grades given to students will be either “pass or fail”.
  9. Students are required to do CSAP testing.  This is mandatory and students must attend during testing.
